    Default Fancy Forest with Dinosaurs

Sooooo many pieces, I think I sewed a puzzle, not a quilt. This quilt forced me to master the 1/4" seam. Pattern was by Elizabeth Hartman, and I will say, after 50 years of working with patterns and a lifetime of reading drafting and mechanical drawings (I'm an engineer).....this is the best, most well written instructions for a complex design in quilting I have ever seen and/or worked on. Not to mention, I had a lot of fun, and it improved my quilting skill set. I have always hand quilted bed quilts, but this one is the first I have had long armed for me. I hope my daughter is not disappointed. She was the one who chose the pattern for her animal loving son, who has a pension for dinosaurs and they live in the woods on 13 acres. Enjoy:

Wow, I can see why you sent it out to be quilted, I can't even imagine trying to hand quilt through all those seams. Very nice quilt.
