Today I went to Salvation Army and bought 8- 2x men's plaid long sleeved shirts for $15. It was 75% off white tag items, so I only pulled those shirts, then looked more closely at labels for 100% cottons. There has to be the equivalent of 1 yard of fabric in each shirt. I bought blues, tans, greens and one with a little yellow running through the blue/white plaid. I am starting to collect them to do a scrappy quilt someday. I have been reading Judy Martin and Bonnie Hunter's books. Have a great day, Cindy

Pardon me for getting a little off the subject, but Goodwill stores sometimes offer some really good bargains. My friend bought an American Girl Samantha doll at Goodwill for $4.49, in excellent condition. The Samantha sold for about $100 at the AG store, but has now been retired so my friend really got lucky!!

I would have decorated mycoffee table with those for hours.. that is one heck of a GRAND find. Bless the person who put them in a bag and said.. oh heck $4 bunch of little pieces of fabric probably useless... obviously not priced by a quilter!
