Farm Girl Quilted

That turned out so pretty! The swirl quilting is perfect.
I love the Lori Holt patterns and I have asked my DH for the Farm Girl book for my birthday next month. It's been on my bucket list since before we were even married, so I think it's time to get it!

Your quilt is awesome. I guess I have been hiding in my sewing room too long-I haven't seen that pattern or book. But is is super refreshing. It looks so happy. Quilting pattern is really complementary to the piecing. Now, it time to enjoy it.

Thank you. I saw this quilt on display and fell in love. After about 1/3 of the blocks completed I fell out of love and really did not enjoy the process wishing I had done 12” blocks instead of 6”. I struggled with the small pieces and getting the blocks all the same size and that is why I didn’t put the flying geese in the border as I knew they wouldn’t match and it would be another headache. However, I am glad I finished it and feel accomplished but never again a quilt with such small pieces for me.
