    Those are both adorable - you've reminded me of a great easy pattern that I think I'll try this weekend - thanks for the photos!

    Thank you everyone!

    Yes, the pattern is quick and easy. Try 8.5" squares of your focus fabric, and two 2.5" strips sewn together, then cross cut into 4.5" segments. Assemble as shown!

    My baby quilt (4 blocks x 5 blocks) took 5 strips x WOF of each color, and my child's quilt (5 blocks x 6 blocks) took 7.
