Yes I used the Farmer's Wife book which comes with a cd with the templets on it. I know there is another cd that you can buy but I thought it was kinda of spending. Don't really know what is on that one.

I have found that I really like the samplers as you learn so many different blocks. I have been using my FQ's. The only problem I am having is that I have used too many different colors and prints. So I have a lot of different blocks that really don't go together. I guess I could put them together and try to win the ugliest quilt contest. Your quilt is great, (no color problem there). Thanks for the inspiration to keep plugging along. Is there any one block that you enjoyed making more that the others? One that was the easiest to do? Thanks for any response. BrendaK

I am working on the Farmers Wife squares also. Still have a few to make. Your lap quilt is lovely, I may finish mine before long. I am using mainly scrapes for mine, so it may be quite mixed up.

Brenda, might I suggest that you use FQs from the same fabric line or use one focal fabric in each block and coordinate colors that go with that focal fabric.
