    Default Farmer's Wife Quilt Finished

These blocks are the amazing work of Givio, who passed away from cancer on Feb.1 of this year. I put the top together for her, with her fabrics and according to her instructions and design. Just got done quilting it. She wanted it to go to her son, so I will be mailing it to him shortly.

She used the first Farmer's Wife book, and also took some of these from the Farmer's Wife 1930s book. Her choice of fabrics was amazing... as was all her fussy cutting. It's a masterpiece.

    RIP our dear Givio.

I love how the colors are used in that quilt. It is lovely. So good of you to make certain the son gets the quilt.
