    Smile Fat Quarter Bag for my Granddaughter

    I posted a thread earlier asking others what do you Put in your fat quarter bag. There were so many uses for these large bags. Mine will be used for Spend the night with Grandma bag to fill with toys, blanket and clothes.

    I have a lot of fabric I don't want anymore so I'm making these bags. Foster kids need a big bag that is easy to carry and really more useful then a quilt to them.
    The boys prefer the thick cotton rope for handles.

    Thank you for the kind words. I had some disheartening news this morning and feeling low. Nothing tragic but will have a low cloud over me and my husband for a spell. I will count my blessings and quilt more and not dwell on the whys.

    I found some denim fabric in my stash so made two bags from it with white rope handles. They will last a long time for the older boys.
