    Default Father's Day Blues

I started this back in I think March 2011, not knowing what I'd do with it at the time. For a while it was going to be part of a large 4-panel bed quilt, but that ended up too big, and it ended up back as a UFO.

My father has a den decorated in blue and tan. He keeps stealing my mother's burgundy lap quilt I made her a few years back. Fortunately, I had just the UFO for the task, and actually managed to finish it in time for Father's Day.

I hope the chalk marks I put on it all those years ago wash off, it's too late to take it by the laundry tonight.

Also not happy with the binding, ended up very inconsistent.

You can see its sister UFO finished here.

What a great idea for a quick Father's day gift. I am sure he will love it.
