This is absolutely gorgeous! But I don't understand, you put five layers of fabric together with the bottom layer wrong side out, stitched 3/4" apart but didn't cut the channels, is that right?

I've never seen this method before! Very beautiful, especially with the poppies.
Does anyone have a picture of a quilt made this way that is more "fluffed out"? I'd love to see what it looks like.
