    Default Favorite Things

Finished this comfort quilt for my niece in Texas. My first time to try the shadow box pattern and once I got past the fibro malfunctions it went well. LOL.

I used things she likes for the blocks, so it's a bit of I Spy too. The background is pink with rose buds on it, as that is another of her favorites. Pink and black and red and black are combinations she likes so had to get those in there too.

I chose the song from Sound Of Music and wrote on the label, "When you are feeling sad, simply wrap yourself in your favorite things and then you won't feel so bad."..

Many thanks to board members who shared fabrics with me to make this quilt happen.

This quilt brought a smile to my face and I am sure it brings one to hers every time she sees it too.

Your quilt is so pretty. I am sure your niece will love it. I really have to try that pattern. It makes a great I Spy quilt.
