Favors for Quilt Show attendees
I made these this morning. Had to take a break from my donation quilts. I hope to make more... lots of time until our spring quilt show

Wow! a quilt show with gifts ... that's something!
Pot holders? coasters? or?
So how many do you have to make?
At least with starting this early, you can do a few here and there,
and never feel as though it is a big a chore or a task.

Thanks, QuiltE. I belong to two guilds of over 100 members each. Both of our guilds give favors. We try to have 500 on hand. Most of the shows I go to also give favors. I didn't think it was unusual. These are just coasters.

You've got a lot of sewing ahead.
Sure hope that you are not the only one doing it, with 500 needed.
I was thinking it was a Canada vs. USA difference,
but I see that Pennyhal has never seen it done either.
So guess that isn't it ! Your local quilters are certainly lucky to have this nice touch!

I want to go to your quilt show. I have not received anything except advertisement stuff from quilt shows here in Colorado. Maybe I need to expand my horizons. These will be deeply appreciated. You're an angel for doing them.

Sometimes we do it too, but only if enough people are willing to help. I was making pincushions and asked for help. I provided the fabric, stuffing and pattern but everyone at the table left when they were told it was for the guild.....not a freebie for them!
