    It looks like a 222 featherweight. They have a removable bed part for sewing sleaves. They are rare and the prices are through the roof! Grab it if you can.

    Going to see her today at 1pm. So excited! How can I tell if it is a 222 - does it say so somewhere on the case or machine? The lady is asking for $100. Is that a good price?

    Look at the flat part the bed of the machine. On the 222 it comes apart in two pieces. Also there is a little number plate under the oval Singer emblem on the front of the machine. It should say 222 or 221. There may also be a letter or number after the model number. Good luck!
