Thank you LindaR - this is just a nine patch. Very simple and the flowers are just cut free hand so they are not all matching by any stretch of the imagination. The cat appliques are from the quilt "Stairway to Heaven". S0.....the pattern is sort of made up in my head from a bunch of other patterns. Lots of help aren't I? LOL

mpspeedy - love your idea - going to try that now and see how I like it. Thanks,

I love it. The only thing I'd change is make the cat's tail a tad thinner. I wasn't sure what that was at first. Of course I'm not most observant person. I wouldn't have thought to put those on top like you did and it makes it a WOW quilt. Really cute.

Definitely finish this lovely quilt. I like to do things in odd numbers and many times my pieces flow off into the borders. I wouldn't change anything on yours.

Leave the applique where they are....great look. Symmetry is good for somethings but visual asymmetry works so much better for this quilt. In my humble opinion. (grin)

When you applique the pieces on they will be smidge smaller, I wasn't thinking of that....Duh.

My vote is also leave it just as you have it. I love how the applique is concentrated in the lower corner with cats and flowers and just a smattering of flowers scattered across the bottom and the one bouquet in the corner. One can almost imagine those kitties had strewn the flowers about and just taking a little break. By all means finish this. It is wonderful.

PS, your avatar looks like he or she could be a seal lynx point ragdoll. Is it?
