This is my client Carin's quilt made for her daughter Sophie. The sun was shining in on the quilt as I was quilting this morning, and it looked so pretty. I just wanted to share, and Carin has graciously granted me her permission to share photos of her quilt.

Sophie loves purple and she has ferns on the walls of her room, so this quilting pattern seemed perfect. The pattern is Fern Meander pantograph designed by Kathie James and the thread color is Jade.

I don't know how well the quilt backing shows on the take-up roller, but it's a gorgeous cream fabric with jade green high heels!

Very nice. I also have my LA setup in a room with a window at the far end just like yours. I love it at just the right time of day how the sun shining in really makes the texture from the quilting pop!
