I just finished this on Sunday. It is 61x61 and is a pattern from Abbey Lane Quilts. I called it A Few Harlequins in My Red Tulip Garden because of the scattering of harlequin tulips in the red tulip fabric. I just loved making the big floppy flower in the center, and I added red and gold french knots to the center to give it a little zing. Hope you like it!! Sorry...these came out a little blurry!!

Forgot to say I made it for our guild's challenge which was "Garden Quilts". We'll find out next month who won the 4 categories: Originality, Interpretation of Theme, Use of Color, Best Technique.

Very, very pretty jljack! I haven't forgotten you. Pattern and fabric is picked out, it had to be special. Now that I can sit up again, I had steriod injections in my back Tuesday, I plan to get going on it. Thank you so much for being so patient. Having this new foster kitten, now 20 days old, since Easter hasn't made things any easier but I couldn't say no. The momma had been killed while moving the litter and my little guy had been left alone in the original nest for 24 hours before anyone found him. He was very hungry, cold and scared. Now he's eating every six hours from the bottle, gaining weight, playing and snuggling up to me whenever he can. He is laying next to me right now, staring up with his big eyes saying "Mom, I'm hungry, please get me my bottle" so I'd better run. Then I can go to bed until 6:00 am when he'll want to eat again. He is a real sweetheart. I have fostered 3 other litters from this same momma so it heard to know she was killed but she would not go into the trap so we could fix her. Last year at this time, I adopted one of her other daughters. She had been snuggling up to her little half-brother whenever she can. Take care.
