A Few Hexagons Done

I can finally admit I'm addicted to making these hexagons. It's so nice having something to take along or work on while watching TV. I had to make one special to stand out since it was my Grandma who introduced to me to quilting and when she passed away my aunt gave me her fabric. I went through the box of fabric and found one that reminded me of her since it's a beautiful shade of blue with little pink flowers on it. She loved gardening and her house was full of plants too. It's the one with the pink ring inside the green ring. I haven't given much thought to how large I'm going to make the top so guess I'll just keep sewing until I figure that out.

Your flowers are beautiful! I really like the way you put the green around each one and then the white - I have a lot of flowers that I never put into a quilt because I was going to make a green path - but really like your idea better.

Not sure how I'll do this but I have a beautiful shade of blue I want to put in there somewhere. Maybe have 1 just scattered through the top and do the outside edge in that same blue. I'll just have to make up some blue hexagons and lay them down to see if that's what I want.
