I love them all, especially the turtles and the challenge quilt. Are the eagles paper pieced? I made some for my America the Beautiful Quilt that was in Quiltmaker a few years back, it was my first attempt at paper pieceing.[/QUOTE
The eagles were paper pieced and I used the pattern from that Quiltmaker series. Always meant to do that whole quilt (America the Beautiful) Still on my "to-do" list. Along with a million others!
All 3 are beautiful! I really love the challenge quilt. Is it your own design?

    Kathy[/QUOTE

Not an original design. I was inspired by Judy Niemeyers "Wild Flowers" quilt. I saw it on the cover of a Quiltworks Today magazine (Aug/Sept 2004) and it gave me an idea for what to make for my guild's challenge project. Our challenge was to make a quilt reflecting our thoughts on the 10yr anniversery of 9/11.

I love all three of your quilts. However, my favorite is the third one with the combination of piecing and applique!

    Default Your Christmas quilts

I especially love your challenge quilt. I think it is gorgeous. I, too, love to mix applique and piecing, so it really caught my eye. I also liked your kids quilts.
