We've been planning a trip this summer, and will be fitting a disassembled Redeye into the trunk on the way home ~ so our packing had to get a little creative, and double as day-travel bags... so my kids and I got into the stash and started putting stuff together. Fun! Here are 3 of the new totes that will be suitcases for our trip, as well as beach bags for the Gulf :)
made a little extra pouch from the scraps to help pad my Droid phone... this one is denim for the black, so I didn't have to do all the interfacing. I really like this one!

my 13 year old's batik frog bag... she picked out all the fabrics for this one

our Pokemon design bag ~ 11 year old son helped pick out the fabrics. HAD to be pokemon, and he liked the batik wash look of the melon color, and it does go well with the little monster's tummy coloring

inside of Pokemon bag... we'll be making more of this pattern, I feel a Betty Boop and Pink Panther in my near future :)

It is Butterick #B5658 ~ it is pretty easy, it does still take a few hours. I am always adding and modifying, so I added extra pockets for my personal likes / needs. Very flexible pattern for small prints as well as large prints :)
