I bet you can really load it down! ... so cute and useful.

And nowwwwwww .......... I want a better look at your runner!
    Puhleeeeeeeeeeease?
Your wish is my command QuiltE....This runner was a class I taught at the Gallery...

The notions pouch was also a class...the zipper is the key measurement...add one inch on each side of the zipper fr the height and double that for the around measurement..ie;10" x 20"..embellish your fabric..add batting if you want or just line it with flannel/preshrunk. add zipper to one side then the other side..a litte tricky..I have a technique that makes it easy...serge all the inside edges to neaten them up...sew the bottom seam...sew the top as shown with the hanger on the inside then turn it right side out and you have your own ditty bag...this wll hold full size scissors, rotary cutters thread ..you name it and inside it goes...I love the one I have and now I have two...I also made a cornicopia pin cushion and a little rectangular pin cushion..they are home in NJ...will take pics when I get home...

Me too!!! ... can't wait to see what QuiltE makes!!

(and don't hold your breath ... Fair season is definitely NOT quilting season!)

Honchey ... your runner is indeed lovely! perfect fabrics that just seem to glow together. A nice way to show off a focus fabric I might steal your idea one of these times. Thanks for the ditty bag details ... will do one sometime! Would be a good thing to have on hand for gifts. Look forward to seeing your pin cushions ... believe it or not, I do NOT have one!

Lovely ditty bag! I do have the pattern of a similar bag somewhere, it's for the embroidery machine.
    Your runner is beautiful!

TADAM!!! LOL Well I finally did it...here is what I did with my little bit of fabric....it has been patiently waiting ...not too far from sight.....not sure what would become of it....finally here is what it will be....part of my DJ....since you inspired me to start one QuiltE , I decided to put it in my blocks...here is the first....not perfect mind you...only 40 pieces in a 4 1/4" square....lol Well I got the book, the CD and the template....took a look at it when I first received it and felt overwhelmed...lol wow....this will take me a while....I knew I wanted to use the fabric in something I would keep for myself.....it will definitely take a while....as you can see....it isn`t perfect....and I am feeling a bit overwhelmed, but it is time I give myself a challenge....these two fabrics will be my go to fabric throughout the quilt....lol I think....

What a wonderful idea, HuntAnnette, to use it for your starter in your DJ.
Though I don't think that FQ will go very far with a quilt of that magnitude.

*blush* ... you're waaaaaaaay ahead of me on the DJ!
So don't scare me too much on what is to come when I take the plunge.
I have the program ... and last week ordered the book and template.
Though I did say that I did not plan to start it til this winter.
So I guess that means I am still on track.
At this rate you'll be 1/2 done before I even start!

Get your woollies on .... I heard there;s been frost warnings up your way,
Just think ... all those winter days and nights you'll have (all too soon) to spend with Jane!
