Sorry for your loss ... I lost my Mother in December. It is so nice that you were able to find someone to enjoy the fidgit quilt. Please update us when you return home and let us know what your "surprise" is. Doesn' really matter what the gift is ... just nice to know that they appreciate your kindness.

I lead a monthly sewing group making fidget quilts. We have made over 600 and given to area NH with dementia units. We also have given about 100 to customers who come into our shop and see our hanging, then ask about our Textured Comfort quilts. We tell them and many have taken a quilt or a kit to make on their own.
We find that this has been one our most rewarding areas in our sewing/quilting lives.
