    it is a beauty...I had a new york beauty long arm quilted and used an arabasque ,wrong spelling sorry, design, recommended by the quilter, it came out great, just a suggestion, as some one said earlier, the person that quilts it will have a good idea what will look good, again your quilt is a beauty....

    I'd say your quilt calls for a custom quilting job. I made one similar to this and stitched in the ditch around most of the arc sections, then did a small meander in the background. It looks fine but I have seen others that were custom fmq and they looked good too. Then there's also what color thread to use?

    Look at Valori Wells book, "Radiant New York Beauties". She shows many ideas for fmq these quilts.
