Beautiful quilt and story. I work with people with disabilities, particularly those on the autism spectrum. Young people with autism can shine and live full and rewarding lives, but it takes a lot of dedication and support from those close to them. Bravo, to you and your DIL.

The quilt is absolutely beautiful, but to me, that letter tops it all, how blessed she is to have you as her mother in law. You have to be one in a million!
