    the quilt is pretty.
How big are the fabric squares on the quilt? I am thinking of making one like that. I noticed you have pieced 2 rectangles together to make one square and it looks like the white ones are solid. right. Just wondering what size they are.

And heck, the batting was an old flannel sheet that had a small tear in it , so I cut that to fit, and then backing... a sheet that I found for a quarter at a thrift store.. scrappy happy and warm tonight!

sometimes the best quilts to use are the ones just put together with what you have - flannel sheets and thrift store sheets. I made one like that not long ago and even just used old men's shirts for the top Loved it and my daughter came home and claimed it as hers! yours is a real beauty tho. looks like one that will just be used and used

Dreamboat.. The pattern I used was from Quiltville.com ( a Scrappy quilting website by Bonnie Hunter ).. if you go there, look on the left side of the page, for the pattern " Fun with Bricks".. the instructions and photos, ect are all there.. I am thinking of other quilts she has listed there to use my scraps in the near future as well..

Beautifully done. Love scrappy and this one is done so well. ( What part of the Blue Mountains? I used to live in Heppner and still have friends in Pendleton and Heppner. ) PM me if you wish.

Love the scrappy happy quilt. Could you folks please share some of that cold air with us. We're burning up down here. Had to put the ACs on again.
