Finally Done! The Dragon & the Princess
This was inspired by a stained glass window that I saw on the 'net. It's 40" x 30". I started it in March of '15. It was a much bigger project than I thought it was going to be, never having attempted stained glass before. Each of the pieces of fabric were cut out, adhered to the black fabric then I used black tape to go inbetween each one for the stained glass effect and sewed that on before it was quilted. It was fun and I'd recommend it to anyone but maybe on a smaller scale (no pun intended ) for a first project!

The fabric selection on the dragon was fabulous! At my age, I wouldn't want to bother with all that bulk from all those the tiny black strips. Hope you have the perfect place to hang this magnificent quilt.
