    Really nice for a first. If I may suggest, you adding more quilting inside the blocks. With usage the fabric may start to droop with all that open space. If you do nothing more than an X in the middle that will make it more stable, and shouldn't take very long, because you can go from one block right into the next with straight lines, then go back and cross them.

    What a great start to your quiltmaking journey! I love that you chose Trip Around te World, as I made one very early on in my quilting....and the blues are wonderful!

    the only problem with finishing the first quilt is now you are hooked and can't wait to move on to the next and the next and the next.

    Congratulations on finishing your first quilt. You did a great job. I love how you mixed the different blue fabrics. I looks lovely. Thanks for sharing. It only takes one to get you hooked!
