Finally a finish!
This is my first finish of 2020. I normally finish (1) quilt a month, but mid January my sewing machine stopped sewing. I took it in for repair and it was the computer board. The brains of my Janome Horizon 8900! To add insult to injury (the part is very expensive) the part was back ordered until the end of March at the earliest. The end of March came and went and no news. I finally got someone at the store last week who was able to see that the part was finally in transit. I got my machine back last Friday, and finished this quilt over the weekend. It was the one I was working on when my machine went Kaput. At least I had my old machine so I could still piece. I made 7 tops in the meantime so I have a lot of quilting to do now :-)

Nice job on that quilt. Sorry you had machine troubles during the project. I have plenty of machines at my house, but I like sticking with one through the whole project, so I can imagine how hard it was to wait for your machine to get repaired.

Your quilt seems to sizzle with the movement in the background fabric : ) Great job! Machines can be frustrating. My Bernina must have a plug connection problem but let me finish my latest project before it went out. New Bernina dealer was supposed to open April 1st but doubt that happened so using my Singer. Finding my 1/4" was a real trial and error, but finally got it.

Very pretty quilt and love the Autumn colors you used. So sorry you had sewing machine problems-that is so annoying when you can't get repairs done in a reasonable time. Glad you had a back up machine.
