    Default Finally Finished Animae Quilt for my Granddaughter

    My GRanddaughter loves the Asian Cartoons and I had found this fabric a while back. Finally found time to finish it for her birthday. I cut the 1 1/2 yds of fabric into horizontal rows of different widths and then subdivided each of the rows 5 or 6 times trying to fussy cut the faces of each girl. Each cut was sashed back together and all rows were sashed.
    The back was leftovers cut into a length of material to make it wide enough. The pattern was from a book called Maverick Quilts called Jalousie .

    the fabric is very nice...
