Default Finally finished - chainsaw quilt

I took Kimberly Einmo's class "Chainsaw" at Road to CA Quilt Show this past January, and have finally completed my quilt. I used Hoffman's Rum Raisin bali pop batiks in both the jelly roll and layer cake to make this quilt. The pattern only used half of the layer cake - I am finishing a QST quilt with the remaining, and will post when I get it back from the LA. In the meantime, here is Chainsaw. Her class was great and learned lots of tips and new techniques.

Oh, and by the way, I was really nervous about washing this quilt - I used 4 color catchers (just to be safe LOL) and it didn't run one bit!

Looks great! I do the same thing with the color catchers if I'm not sure about the colors running. So far, I've not had a problem.
