Beautiful. Be sure to show it after it is quilted!

No worries! It will get finished, but unless I have a rush job to get a gift quilt made, I always put all my quilt tops away for a while when I get them finished and I always have 2 sandwiched WIPs handy to work on when I get some time to do so. The 2 I'm currently quilting are both king sized ... each nearly half completed, one all hand quilted and the other combined machine and hand quilting.

Just a little p.s. to what I wrote above. I like to keep several smaller tops ... lap top size, preferably, for "emergencies". By that I mean if, for example, I get word that a friend is sick and, in my opinion, in need of a quilt, I can go through my box of finished quilt tops, choose one, finish it and give/send it to the friend. It's so much quicker than having to start from scratch.

Again, to all of you, thank you so much for your kind words. I like the finished top, also, with the emphasis on "finished".

Marsye, you kidder you, a good project for you to consider would be to sew a nice bag or two (using fire resistant fabric) to cover the head of the person in your avatar.

That is a beautiful quilt. No flaws that I can see. I hope you forgive it and finish it soon.

I just love this quilt top & see NO flaws whatsoever. I think you are maybe just tired of it due to the problem with the Bali Pops. You are not the only person that has found them to be cut so poorly! You really did a fabulous job & have a GORGEOUS quilt top to show for your efforts. Thank You for sharing.

Weezie - I don't see any flaws in your quilt and it is beautiful. I have heard from several others that the Bali Pops are not cut completely perfect, which would then make what your working on difficult. I'm presently working on Japanese Fans by Judy Neimeyer and have to keep ordering two more yards and two more yards and now another two yards of the black I'm using. It's hard judging amounts of fabric needed for the type of PP patterns I make. Using batiks can be a bit pricing when PP.
PS - I'll be watching for your finished piece! Hugs

It looks great but sometimes after a quilt is a struggle you have to put it away for a while and then a little ways down the road take it out and have a new appreciation for it. You are probably the only ones that see any flaws, it really nice.

I love your braid quilt. I bought a book about a year ago & someday I would like to make one too. I have alot of other things I should finish first. Notice I said "should"!!
    Beautiful job!
