Finally finished this top today. I posted the center and log cabin part a few weeks ago. This one got away from me @ 95" x 95". Will let the quilter deal with this one. I am not too sure abt the gold in the outer borders BUT that fabric is in the log cabin blocks. I just don't want to think of taking it out BUT ..... Plus the top of quilt will be hidden by solid cream/beige crocheted pillow shams. The overall colors are more muted than the pic shows... What do ya'll think? ...on to my next project....

I was looking trying to figure out what you thought was the problem and decided if I had to stare at it to figure it out there really isnt any problem. Its a cute holiday quilt. Wouldnt change a thing.

That is so pretty. The pattern is unusual and I love it. It's always great to see someone change things up.....and have it work that well. Great colors too. Wonderful quilt.

Thanks so much for your comments! I DO love this quilt.... This is MY design as I was given the "panel" with the original Christmas bears. This may sound silly but I had that panel on my design wall for weeks UNTIL it spoke to me... then it just kept speaking to me..... and now it is quiet... it must be finished... gonna cost me a forttune to have it quilted... lol alot!!!
