Nice quilt, but what do you mean 'finally finished a quilt started two weeks ago'? Two weeks ago isn't long at all. I wish I would finish quilts in two weeks. I probably could, if I would just stay with it and stay off this stinking quilting forum.

Kathy - I know I rush through them - once I start I can't put them down and don't want to until it's done....I wish I could hand quilt (I have psoriatic arthritis in all my fingers and one wrist) and then take more time to enjoy the process - for now I'm type A personality all my projects and my joy is in the finish :0)

Two weeks??? That is great. Very pretty.

I wish I could concentrate on one thing long enough to finish something. I have depression, and my mind is racing from one thing to another right now.

Maybe when the weather clears up, I can get out more and get my mind cleared.

    Thanks for sharing.

I don't have a job outside of the house and I make sure all my errands and "chores" are done before I sit down - all 5 of my kids are also older so I don't have to "entertain" them. When soccer season gets into full swing I won't be able to do as much as I have been. PLUS everyone needs to remember, that what I am doing is not complicated - while I like it and its a challenge to me - for some of you ladies - this is basic beginner quilts with noticible mistakes...

I don't know maybe all I'm doing is sewing and not really quilting!
