Hi,
here's the top of my Bali Wedding Star quilt. I finished it last week. However I want to add, unless you are an accomplished quilter, I would encourage you to take a class on paper piecing first. This was my first attempt at it, and it was difficult for me. I would have never been able to do it, except that I have a dear friend who also did this at the same time, and she has 10 yrs of experience and could figure it out. The most expensive, and certainly the most time consuming project I have taken on, but now that it is done, well worth it.

Hi,
thanks ladies for the nice comments. While my friend and I were working on these quilts we would joke "I thought quilting was supposed to be fun!" Even my friend who has had to admit it was "challenging" for her. She told me she always does 2 of every pattern, so she said the next one she is going to do with this pattern will be turquoise and choclate which sounds beautiful. Myself, I am ready to do some easier, more relaxing patterns for a while. Mine is tucked away in the closet for now, and will be a gift.
