I really like this log cabin. I like the constrast between the lights and darks. I make several scrappy log cabins but I have a problem of picking fabrics for the light side. I sort them, but always seem to get some fabrics in that once it is all done they don't appear as light as I thought.
I can see the quilting in the bottom picture, did you do those wavy lines on your domestic machine. I saw a quilt done like this a couple days ago, and just love how it was quilted.

I quilted this on a Juki98Q....it has slightly more throat space.

Both this kitty and her brother have absolutely loved this quilt. It is well initiated. I usually say that my quilts have the KTCA seal of approval...Kitty Tested, Cat Approved.

Oh, and Puss Puss, the kitty in this pictures is the re-incarnation of a kitty we had a few years ago. Just the same little petite face and body. As far as looks. Personality is a different story.

Your quilt is beautiful, I love everything, the colors, quilting, everything! Log cabin is my favorite pattern, you can do so much with it, and get really different looks.

I really like the black center square. My one and only log cabin had red ones but this makes me know other colors look great too. Very nice job!
