    The saying is hand embroidered on the pink border and the flowers and fences (on the off white border) are all hand embroidered as well. It was in the magazine that I need to look for. The stars were in a book I had out from the library and just really wanted to try. The flowers are all mine - just free style cut them out and slap them on. I just cannot seem to complete a quilt top without some type of applique. I love pieced quilts with applique added somewhere.

    Thank you everyone for your very kind comments. I think the very best part of finishing a top is being able to post a picture and get everyones feedback. You are all so positive and encouraging. It's wonderful. There is no one else to show them to so this is a pretty exciting part for me.
