It does have a ton of seams but so far my Q24 is handling them just fine and the tension is perfect. Thank you all for your compliments, it will be a true learning experience.

That quilt looks like it was a long time in the making. So many pieces and colors! I look forward to seeing how you quilt this baby.

So I’ve already had to pull some stitches as I got off track with my cross hatching in the checkerboard squares yesterday. (first pic) I am mostly using a straight ruler for SITD as I don’t want to take too much away from the blocks themselves. (second photo) I will have a lot of threads to bury when I take it off the LA

As I suspected, I ran into some trouble at the end of the quilt...the bottom left corner was a bit wonky so I had to work the Round the World block in to get it square. I basted the sides and bottom before quilting the last section of the quilt and I ended up with a couple of wrinkles but I think once it’s washed you won’t know they are there. : /

I have left the quilt on the frame until I decide if I want to go back and do any more quilting in certain areas. Thank you for your comments...it has been a great experience.

Your quilting looks wonderful and the stitches are so consistent on your Bernina. I can only imagine how fun it must be to turn out such great results on your new Q! Congratulations - it looks fabulous

Absolutely gorgeous and stunning! Couldn’t decide which word best describes your fantabulous quilt! Lol It is such an achievement. I’m sure it is going to look great once it’s done. Best wishes!
