After recieveing the pattern I was able to make the block but also with all the great advice I recieved from the board. I am looking forward to making the quilt soon. Here is a pic of the civil war quilt top I finished. All I have to do now is quilt it. Oh and lets not forget my quilt inspector as she plays with my quilt blocks. LOL.

AWWWW Reminds me of my Daisy!! She was always after my quilting and computer and yarn and pencils and telephone cords, back in the day....
