    Thanks! I was just reading all your kind words which are so supportive to a learning quilter, when
    LIGHT DAWNED - this must be just like buying a kit, except that I had to go out and find all the fabrics that the pattern called for and then cut them up! I would never have thought of doing a kit quilt because I was afraid if I screwed up the cutting or the piecing I'd be out of luck with not enough fabric. Hm. Perhaps I'll put it on the bucket list!

    It is gorgeous. Even with the stress of designing and doing your own thing, I love it. But every once in awhile it is nice to know it will turn out perfectly.
