I love your layout. When I started quilting some 10 years ago, I collected a 2 1/2" square from every fabric I purchased, stole corners out of my MIL's stash of fabrics and bought a ton of scrap bags - never imagining that I would ever collect enough fabrics to make a charm quilt. (How little I knew back then!) Despite collecting over 2000 pieces in just a couple of years, I STILL have not made the darn quilt! All the pieces are neatly stacked and counted into bundles of 500. But your beautiful quilt has sparked my interest and maybe, just maybe, this will be the year to complete it! Ok - maybe I'll at least shoot for STARTING it!!!

Here is an idea for you. I just finished a "Monet's Wedding Ring" using 2.5" charm squares. This a Judy Martin "Scraps" pattern and if you google images, you will find lots of pictures. Mine had only one repeated fabric and that was a hot pink center of the nine patches. I started cutting the background it on a retreat, and once it was all cut it went together fairly quick. You can do it, Denice.
