    Default Finally, one for me.

I made each granddaughter a quilt. I made my daughter a quilt. Apparently, I made my dog one too (if anyone remembers my old post about my dog taking the lap quilt outside through the puppy door) and all this while I didn't have one for my bed.

So I took the scraps from my daughter's log cabin I made her for Christmas and used some material I got from her as a swap the last time I visited and made me a quick and easy rail fence (and very warm) quilt for MY bed.

This is a beautiful quilt! What insight to use those scraps and the blue is so calming.

Good for you. It's beautiful too. I finally made one for my bed as well - A Trip Around the World. It's a good feeling to go into my bedroom and say " I made that".

Aren't we always the last person on the list to get a quilt? Your blue Rail Fence looks lovely on your bed. It matches the paint and is so pretty.

Very pretty quilt. I made all my kids, husband and mom quilts before I made myself a lap quilt. Mom has 6 quilts. They all have table toppers, too. My grandson has 4 quilts, a quilt for his teddy and 3 reversible mug rugs and a dozen cloth books. I am planning his 5th quilt for his 7th birthday. We deserve a quilt so good for you.
