Finally, a Pineapple Christmas Quilt
#72
Thanks so much, but I'm going to keep this one. It is pretty special to me. I began cutting the fabric for it when I found out I was headed for surgery for breast cancer, and started stitching 8 days after surgery. It kept me busy and my mind otherwise occupied. The beginning was 2 years ago and I'm doing very well today.

I love everything about this quilt. From your color choices (Christmassy but not over the top Christmassy) to your choices in quilting. I am also a huge fan of Judi Madsen and remember fondly when she used to be an active member of this forum. She was a big influence in my early longarming and someone I was driven to emulate. I was fortunate enough to have her quilt a quilt for me before she became "famous" and before I got my LA. You have definitely done a great job with your straight line quilting and I bet Judi would be thrilled to see it. I especially love how it is darn near impossible to pick out your block!
