I bought one patten and didn't quite understand it. Bought another and it had color charts. That really helped me to be able to make mine.

So far it looks really nice and I love the colors. I'm in the process of collecting fabrics to make one. I have wine painted walls in my DR/LR and want it to have those shades of color and maybe greens or tans. I'm confused about the whole thing. Getting the correct lights and darks and sewing it together. Make sure you post finished quilt

I love your bargello, I don't think the book I have has a "Twist & Turn" in it

It is also a little simpler without have to do any unstitching. There is someone on the board who posted this pattern and the fabrics she is using for her quilt. I think it was called SURF and TURF because she is doing it in blues for the water and shades of brown for the beach. Just wanted you to know. The Aurora Borealis quilt is normally done with 2 colors. I found this quilt fascinating because I am planning to make the table runner in bright colors like the colors in this quilt. That pattern is also found in the same book. It is the ONLY book I have every bought where I want to make ALMOST ALL the quilts in the book.

Here is half of it. I almost have the other half done. Will finish that tomorrow. This wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Actually it wasn't bad at all.

I love the boldness of those colors and it's turning out great.

glad you figured it out. I just followed the chart real close and kept a note on which row I was on.

Very pretty verna - bright and cheery. I also like the blue tones shown by ManiacQuilter2. Love the way the blues work together. We are sure seeing some really pretty bargello's on this board.
