I have faith that the next generation of quilters is here or is being born right now. They will carry on.

Beautiful little girl! These skills and working with her grandmother will be treasured memories.

I noticed you have lots of stash near a sunny window. I've had the folds on some fabrics sun fade so now everything is covered. (Maybe you use your stash faster than I do!)

Great job, I have tried to encourage DD& GDs to sew but so far no dice, one daughter does sew once in a while. Hopeful when she retires that will be one of her hobbies.

Have fun with your lovely GD. Her quilt is great, she's going to be a pro for sure.

Congratulations on being able to pass the quilting gene on. She is so cute. I love the windows by your machine, what great light to sew with.

Isn't it wonderful to have a GD that likes to sew/quilt? The quilt is fantastic.... great job. I now have greatGDs and they like to sew when they come to visit. They live far away so they don't get to come very often. But, we try to make up for lost time when they're here.
