All 3 of my grands are learning to sew and I am so proud of them !! Congratulations on teaching her - just be sure to never be negative or she will not want to do it (this piece of advice was given to me by a senior when I started teaching my 17 year old how to sew 10 years ago). Mistakes are blessings in disguise! Make it over if you have to .. Some more advice that was given to me.

She did a super job ~~ Keep it up !!

What a lucky girl to have you help her like that. My gran taught me to knit and crochet but she didn't quilt.

She did such a nice job! It's wonderful you'll be able to share your quilting with your GD.

That is so awesome that you get to teach her to quilt. I'm hoping that someday our DGD will ask Grandma MiMi to teach her to quilt, it would be so awesome if I could.

Beautiful, both of them. Now all she needs to do is ask Grampa to buy Gran a new 830 so she can have your old one.
