    I've finally finished hand stitching the binding on my "Day & Night" quilt! I posted pics before when I had finished the top but here it is, all finished!

    Draped over our loveseat. It's about a Queen size.

    Up close and quilted! I free-motion-quilted it with swirls and some echo quilting.

    It's beautiful. It has an optical illusion about it that makes you look at it longer to figure it out. Good work. Thanks for sharing!

    I have bought the book and ruler combo, but I am not sure about tackling it. The book says it uses a lot of fabric...
    Did the easiness of using the ruler cancel out the inconvenience of having to buy more fabric?

    I saw a demonstration a few months ago in a LQS and it seemed easy... is it?
