    I've seen that kit on Craftsy and have always thought it was pretty, but it's so nice to see one made by an actual person (!) - it looks great!

    I wish my pictures did the fabric color justice. They are more vibrant than in the pictures which give them a yellow color due to lighting. The hardest thing about this pattern is you have to be very precise in cutting strips, sewing a 1/4" seam and follow the instructions to square the quilt every 5-6 rows.

    It's so GREAT to see Hawaiian fabrics used! Living and selling fabric here, rarely do we see the finished projects, tho' from time to time someone will email a photo. Others will say "love the fabric but it doesn't work on the mainland".... well you showed us how attractive and colorful a well-designed pattern enhances the fabrics! Mahalo for posting this...
