    My grandaughter wanted a quilt with purple....this is her very own

    Thank you for the kind words. Granddaughter is very pleased with it. However I am making another one with embroidery blocks and she told me she wanted to wait until I finished this one to make her decision.

    Definitely Mardi GRas. I can just see one of the floats in the New Orleans parades with bright beautiful colors like that. I just got to thinking how many years it been since I even went to Mardi GRas----a long,long long time :?
    Way before I moved to NC and that was 20 years ago. Am I getting old or what :cry:
