Much better! Love the change to the lighter fabric in that block.

It's turned out beautiful, Melanie! I just came here from your link on the other thread. The border solution was perfect, it's so warm and the quilting is wonderful! :D Great work - whatcha gonna make now?! :D

That is awesome!! It was fun to read it from your concerns to your changes. I love the blocks, the color, the borders and the quilting. :D

    I don't know!
I have my blue and white blocks that are just sitting there, I should get my black a white very soon, I know exactly what I'm going to do with those, I'll SITD around all the shapes in the blocks, and stipple the backgrounds of each, and do something cool with the borders and sashing, like stencil or hand draw some leaves or vines, or whatever, and quilt along that. I've never done that before, just either straight lines, or meandering freehand, nothing planned.

I started a OBW a little while ago, for a wall hanging, I should probably get a move on that one too :)

I have so many quilts just waiting for me to quilt them, I just don't have the skill to do it well yet, and I'm afraid to ruin them, lol!

Dang girl, you quilted that thing fast. What was it - in a day! Your name should be Zoom Girl.

    A very nice quilt, indeed!
It is quite a knack to be able to use a bunch of different colors and have them blend, not one jumping out and smacking you in the eye!
I like your quilt, very much!
