    I would never have thought that you ran out of fabric by looking at your quilt. It looks like it was beautifully and creatively designed!

    I like it. I love the improvisation. I'm not fused over the color changes. Especially as you challenged each other to use only what you had on hand. I think the changes and additions make it interesting.

    My suggestion on quilting, A simple crosshatch. But, NOT through the appliques. I would go right up to them but, not through them.

    I give it two !! And, bonus, it sounds like you had fun making it.
