Aren't all hubbies like that!? Mine grimaces at EVERY hole. He especially dislikes me hanging things on doors. Mostly, I just ignore him in this aspect, as he's pretty terrific on most other subjects. (grinning)

This is a very good idea, however, and I'm going to find some of those small rings.

By the way, how LARGE is this Dresden? What is the finished block size? It may say but I may have missed it...

My finished block size (dresden part only) was 12". This meant when I used my dresden tool, I cut the pedals at the 4" mark. Then I just added my borders. :)

Great idea. I just used the same hooks to hang a large wall hanging on my dining room wall. I did not use the little plastic circles, I used an old curtain rod that is 3" wide, and just long enough for the quilt. I put 2 hooks up, and hung the curtain rod on them.

Love your "Dresden block. I've been using the little cafe rings on the backs of my quilts -wallsize- so I can hang them with pushpins as the pins don't leave big holes in the walls like nails.

I have been wondering if those hooks would work for hanging a quilt. Thanks for posting this.
