Would like to know the name of the pattern for the blue & white one.
It is called the friendship star. It actually has a number of different names. It is very easy to do with the have square triangles.

Beautiful!! I love them all. My fav is the blue, the pattern is very interesting. My next project will need to be a red, white and blue for my niece. No idea on the pattern, tho.

Rachel - I recognize the friendship star but it is how it is put together that is so unique. Did you design that yourself? If it was from a book, I'd appreciate the title. Thanks much. I REALLY like it!

It is "Ribbon Quilt Block" -- a freebie fromQuilters Cache.

I see an August 2006 date on my pattern sheet, but I suspect it is still on their website. RM

It is a freebie from Quilters Cache website. You'll find it under the 12" blocks, "Ribbon Quilt Block". I sent this message once with the link, but when I tried the link it didn't work, but the site it there. Just google for QuiltersCache.com.

Beautiful quilts, every one of them!

I have to start a college graduation quilt soon. I have until December but it'll be here before I'm ready! Thanks for the motivation! I needed that!!!
